Taking a Course For Category A1

Theoretical lessons
Sigma Aerospace College offers courses that cover all the theoretical training requirements necessary for licencing as a Pilot. They also offer the MEA Aeroskills Training Package as well as Part 66 modular assessments. These courses also meet the licensing requirements for the European Union. The theory lessons are an essential part of the course for category A1. You must take 12 theory lessons each lasting 90 minutes, to pass the theory test. The number of lessons you take may differ based on how well you are learning.
The lessons in the theoretical area focus on considerations regarding audience, purpose and stylistic decisions for the texts you write. You will also learn to distinguish between facts, opinions and judgments as well as how to think deductively and inductively. Practical lessons
The course for category A1 prepares the student for a motorcycle practical test. This course is designed for students who want to ride a small motorbike or moped with a maximum capacity of 125cc. The practical lessons include theory and practice of basic riding skills. The course is minimum four hours. Students who want to pass the test must have at minimum 9 hours of instruction with an instructor.
The practical lessons for the category A1 course are divided into sections. The first section is a theory lesson on the basic rules of driving. The next part is a road lesson where the student will practice the manoeuvres which will be tested during the Mod 1 test. The final lesson will be a test that lasts approximately 15 minutes. During the test the student will be required to perform a variety of maneuvers on Federal or country roads.
